Chiropractor for Spring, TX.
Boss Chiropractic is about twenty minutes north of Spring, on Woodlands Parkway. A lot of our patients drive up Gosling or Kuykendahl on their way home from work and are back on the road in under an hour.
Spring patients at a glance
- Long desk hours and daily commutes strain the low back and neck.
- Warehouse and field jobs also cause sharp low back and shoulder injuries.
- Rear-end crashes on I-45 and Rayford Road are a steady source of whiplash.
- The first visit includes an exam and a 3D spine model.
The drive from Spring.
From Rayford Road or the Spring Cypress area, the easy way is straight north on Gosling or Kuykendahl until you hit Woodlands Parkway, then west. From Old Town Spring or anywhere near the I-45 feeder, take the freeway north and turn west on Woodlands Parkway. If you come in from the Grand Parkway side, FM 2978 runs you north to the same corner. We are at the west end of the parkway in Sterling Ridge, with free parking at the door.
What Spring bodies come in with.
Spring runs on the I-45 corridor, and that shows up in our exam room. The corporate campuses off Springwoods Village put thousands of people in a chair for eight or nine hours, then in a car for another one or two. Sitting is a load, even though it does not feel like one. The low back holds a rounded shape all day and the discs at the bottom of the spine take the pressure. The neck creeps forward toward the monitor and the muscles at the base of the skull never get to rest.
The other half of Spring works with its hands. Warehouses and distribution yards near the Grand Parkway, service trucks running FM 2920 and Louetta all day, plant and field crews on rotating shifts. Those jobs produce a different injury: a sharp low back that goes out lifting something awkward, or a shoulder that stops going overhead after months of reaching.
We also treat a steady stream of car crashes. Rayford Road and the I-45 feeders generate rear-end collisions, and whiplash rarely announces itself the day of the wreck. It shows up two mornings later as a neck that will not turn.
What we most often treat for Spring patients.
- Low back pain from long commutes and long shifts
- Sciatica and pain that runs down one leg
- Neck pain and headaches from desk and screen work
- Disc problems that respond to non-surgical spinal decompression
- Shoulder trouble from overhead and repetitive lifting
- Whiplash and soft tissue injury after a crash
- Numbness, burning, and tingling handled through our neuropathy program
How the first visit goes.
Dr. Christopher Boss takes your history, examines how you move, and tests the nerves in both legs before he touches anything. Then he shows you a 3D model of the spine and points at the segment causing your trouble. You leave with a plan, a rough number of visits, and the cost in front of you. We take most major plans and self-pay is available. Give us your plan details when you book and we will check your coverage before you arrive.
If you are driving twenty minutes each way, the plan has to be worth the drive. Dr. Boss builds schedules that respect that, and he will tell you when you have gotten what you came for.
