Understand your spine before we ever touch it.

Dr. Christopher Boss examines you first, then walks you through what he found on an interactive 3D spine model. It is a teaching model, not an X-ray. You see the problem, then the two of you build the plan.

Same-day appointments most days. Call and ask.

Tap a bone. See what it does.

This is the same 3D model Dr. Boss uses to walk patients through their exam. Spin it, zoom in, and tap any vertebra to see what it connects to. It's a sample teaching model, not a scan of you.

This is a sample model, not a scan of you. The office does not make a 3D scan or 3D model of your body. Dr. Boss uses this model to show you what he finds in your exam.

    Why people come in

Most backs get guessed at. Yours gets examined, then explained.

Low back, neck, discs, nerves, headaches. They can feel alike from the inside. Dr. Boss examines you first. Then he walks you through it on a 3D spine model on his iPad. It's a teaching model, not a scan of you.

    What we help people with

    Where it hurts.

These are the everyday spine and nerve problems that bring people in from The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe and Magnolia. Your exam decides the plan, not the label.

Person in a grey shirt standing with one hand pressed against their lower back

    Low back pain

The most common reason people walk through our door. Pain usually starts in a joint, a disc, or overworked muscle, and all three can feel the same from the inside. We find out which one is yours before we treat anything.

    Back pain treatment
    Key points
    • Three common sources, three different plans
    • Exam and history before treatment
    • You see the spot on the 3D model
Seated person leaning forward with a hand on their thigh, uncomfortable

    Sciatica and leg pain

Shooting pain, numbness or tingling down the leg usually means a nerve is under pressure in the low back. We take the pressure off at the source instead of only where you feel it.

    Sciatica and leg pain
    Key points
    • A symptom of nerve pressure, not its own disease
    • The exam maps which nerve root is involved
    • Decompression, adjusting and specific exercise
Illustrated cross-section of vertebrae showing a disc bulging toward the nerve space

    Herniated and bulging discs

Non-surgical spinal decompression gently separates the vertebrae to pull pressure off the disc and the nerve it sits on. Slow, quiet work, done over a course of visits rather than one dramatic session.

    Herniated and bulging discs
    Key points
    • Your back is not broken
    • Reflexes, strength and movement all checked
    • Pain retreating toward the back is real progress
Person hunched over a laptop gripping the back of their neck

    Neck pain and headaches

Phones and desks pull the head forward for hours a day. Most tension headaches start in that same stiff neck. We ease the strain before it hardens into lost motion.

    Neck pain treatment
    Key points
    • Forward head posture overloads the neck
    • Adjusting, soft tissue work, then exercise
    • Screen and phone height changes that hold
View from inside a car showing a cracked windshield in late afternoon light

    Whiplash and auto injury

A crash strains the neck and back in ways that often show up days later. We document the injury, care for it, and handle the paperwork with your insurer.

    Whiplash and auto injury
    Key points
    • Pain often peaks a day or two after the crash
    • Early notes matter for your claim
    • Severe symptoms go to an emergency room first

    Your first visit

About an hour, and you leave knowing where you stand.

    Step 01

    Questions first

Your history narrows things down faster than anything else. When it started, what makes it worse, what time of day is worst.

    Step 02

    The exam

How you bend and stand, which joints have stopped moving, and reflexes, strength and sensation in both legs.

    Step 03

    You see it

Dr. Boss brings up the 3D model and walks you through what he found, in plain words, on a 3D model of the spine.

    Step 04

    A plan you can repeat

A number of visits and a cost, before you agree to anything. If you are not improving, the plan changes or he refers you out.
